Rescue Diary: Blake the Kitten
📍 Location: Underground parking garage, New York City

🐾 Injury Condition: Both eyes injured and bleeding Mild inflammation throughout the body
📖 Rescue Story:
I was out for a walk that evening when I received a call from my neighbor. They told me there was a kitten in the underground garage with severe eye injuries — likely cut by a sharp object. I rushed back immediately.
We found the kitten curled up beside a car, terrified of people. My neighbor Avril and I carefully secured him using a carrier and took him straight to the animal hospital.
After four to five days of treatment, Blake’s eyes are gradually healing. He still needs IV fluids and ongoing eye care. Avril and I split the medical costs equally. Because of my busy work schedule, Blake is temporarily being cared for by Avril.
